  2.     EASY BASE V10 IS NOW INSTALLED

  5.     Applications written in previous versions of Easy Base can be
  6.     copied directly to a sub directory of Easy Base V10. However,
  7.     the .PPR files created by V9 are not compatible with V10 and
  8.     must be erased before the application is used. You can erase all
  9.     .PPR files by selecting and exiting from Relationships in the
  10.     application directory.

  12.     The System values Current Record, Total Records and Total Copies
  13.     no longer exist. If any of your procedures reference these values
  14.     they must be changed. The values are now available as pseudo fields
  15.     Form.Record Number, Form.Total Records and Form.Total Copies.

  17.     A forms sequence number is now available as Form.sequence and there
  18.     are new commands: Reset Sequence, Beep, Pack and Recall input Screen.

  20.     The following features have been added or changed and may be
  21.     incorrectly described in the printed documentation.

  23.     1. Batch Starting.

  25.        To start Easy Base in directory Accounts as terminal one with the
  26.        password "Fred" you can either:

  28.        SET EBT=1
  29.        SET EBD=ACCOUNTS
  30.        SET EBP=FRED

  32.        As environment variables in your autoexec.bat file or start Easy
  33.        Base with the command line:

  35.        EB T=1 D=ACCOUNTS P=FRED

  37.        The terminal number parameter is only applicable to multi user
  38.        versions.

  40.     2. Data Import can now be made available on user menus.

  42.     3. New Data Browse menu item allows browse and search facilities
  43.        in the data entry screen with no option to add, delete or modify
  44.        records.

  46.     4. Install Printer, Set Paper, Screen colours and options have been
  47.        combined under a single "Configuration" item.
  48.  
  49.     5. New printer command "Landscape" adds landscape printing for HP
  50.        printers.
